World Tai Chi and Qigong Day 2007

Wow. What a great turn out. We even got to practice a little meteorological synchronicity, if you like. The clouds and cool breeze threatened, but shortly after we shared Dividing The Clouds, they sure enough did! Sunshine stayed with us until we finished. Wow.

Pics from both WTCQD and the Workshop.

Upcoming Events (not ours, but way cool)

Dr. Roger Jahnke will be in the area in May. More on that soon. Or, just download the flier. Roger was one of my first Qigong teachers.

Speech services now covered under Carefirst/Blue Cross Blue Shield (PPN).

We've just been accepted under this great program. If you are enrolled in Carefirst/Blue Cross Blue Shield (PPN) your child's Speech services just got easier to manage.

Tai Chi Moves for Kids sets are in!

We've just gotten a limited number of Tai Chi Moves for Kids sets in. Its author Cari Shurman calls it "An Educational Activity for kids, parents and teachers, to improve balance, concentration, flexibility, focus, attention and learning." We could't agree more! Each set contains flash cards for each posture (there are 12), a video CD, and accompanying audio CD, and suggestions for implementing this program at home or in school. Very Cool! Sets are $25, MD tax included. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll bring them to class. Christmas is coming! (oh, I can't believe I said that)
